Mitch Baxley
Case No. 2003-057718

Probable Cause was found that Mitch Baxley contracted to provide architectural services and received compensation for providing architectural services on a commercial project. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Raul Carrasco
Carrasco Design Group
Case No. 2003-042253

Probable Cause was found that Raul Carrasco and Carrasco Design Group held themselves out in a lawsuit as interior designers while his license was null and void. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Brett Carter
C. Brett Carter Enterprises
Case No. 2003-047146

Probable Cause was found that Brett Carter is unlicensed and provided interior design services on commercial projects. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Jenny L. Cocanougher
Case No. 2003-050487

Probable Cause was found that Sheila Hawley was practicing interior design without a license and contracted to provide services on commercial buildings. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Julie Kovach
Case No. 2003-069215

Probable Cause was found that Julie Kovach held herself out as providing interior design services and executed a Proof of Experience Form from DBPR as an interior designer. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Kenneth J. Ferruggia
Kenaco Development Corporation, Inc.
Case No. 2003-001573

Probable Cause was found that Kenneth J. Ferruggia is unlicensed and held himself out as an Architect Designer on his business card. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Mr. Ferruggia sign an affidavit stating he changed his business card and that he will not offer such services in the future. If Mr. Ferruggia fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Broderick Husserl
Husserl Design Group
Case No. 2003-054292

Probable cause was found that Broderick Husserl is unlicensed and offered architectural design and planning on his webpage. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Frank Kelly
Design Mates Associates
Case No. 2002-012364

Probable cause was found that Frank Kelly is unlicensed and his business, Design Mates Associates, held themselves out as “Architect” on business cards. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Mr. Kelly sign an affidavit stating he changed his business card and that he will not offer such services in the future. If Mr. Kelly fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Agnes Pfleger
ACP Design, Inc.
Case No. 2003-051687

Probable cause was found that Agnes Pfleger is unlicensed and her business card offers architectural services. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Ms. Pfleger sign an affidavit stating she changed her business card and that she will not offer such services in the future. If Ms. Pfleger fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable cause was found that John Shakib is unlicensed and his business card offers architectural services. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Mr. Shakib sign an affidavit stating he changed his business card and that he will not offer such services in the future. If Mr. Shakib fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Case No. 2003-042406

Probable cause was found that SRL Associates offered commercial design and architectural CAD system in an advertisement in the yellow pages. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that an affidavit be signed stating it changed its advertisement and will not offer such services in the future. If the affidavit is not returned, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Carlos A. Vargas
Case No. 2003-003592

Probable cause was found that Carlos A. Vargas is unlicensed and his resume held himself out as an architect. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Mr. Vargas sign an affidavit stating he changed his resume and that he will not offer such services in the future. If Mr. Vargas fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Architectural Drafting Service
Case No. 2003-058133

Probable cause was found that John A. Yencho is unlicensed and is doing business as “Architectural Drafting Services”. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Mr. Yencho sign an affidavit stating he changed his business name and that he will not offer such services in the future. If Mr. Yencho fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable cause was found that James T. Melvin maintains a full time office in Sanford, Florida, but is also the architect in responsible supervisory control for an office in Vero Beach, Florida. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
