I. Unlicensed Cases
Susan K. Andrews
Andrews Consulting & Design, Inc.
Case No. 2004-035419
Probable Cause was found that Susan Andrews of Salt Lake City, Utah is not licensed in the State of Florida and entered into a contract to perform interior design services for a condominium. After Ms. Andrews received a retainer of $5,000.00, she disappeared and never provided any services. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued.
Architectural Home Planners LTD. Co.
Chris Larichuta
Case No. 2004-033765
Probable Cause was found that Chris Larichuta is doing business as Architectural Home Planners LTD. Co. in Tallahassee, Florida. Neither Mr. Larichuta nor the firm are licensed to practice architecture in the State of Florida. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Mr. Larichuta sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from offering architectural services and will change the business name deleting any references to architecture or words to that effect. If Mr. Larichuta fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Edward Deleon
KWQ Architecture
Case Nos. 2004-034780 & 2004-034744
Probable Cause was found that Edward Deleon of Key West, Florida is not licensed but contracted to perform architectural and interior design services for a residence. Further, Mr. Deleon signed the contract using the designation “AIA” even though he is not a member and is offering services under the name KWQ Architecture. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued.
Juan Garrido
Case No. 2004-054890
Probable Cause was found that Juan Garrido of Miami, Florida is not licensed but is exam eligible and contracted to perform architectural services for a residence. Mr. Garrido orally held himself out as an architect to the client. Further, the contract specifically refers to architectural services and his business card offers architectural services. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued.
Stacey Goldman
Great Spaces Interior Design
Case No. 2004-002097
Probable Cause was found that Stacey Goldman of Del Ray Beach, Florida is not licensed and is doing business as Great Spaces Interior Design. Ms. Goldman is offering interior design services on her signs in front of her place of business and on a sign on her car. Ms. Goldman was previously served with a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist but failed to return the affidavit. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.

Dana Micallef Design Development
Case No. 2004-045539
Probable Cause was found that Dana Micallef of Ormond Beach, Florida is not licensed and contracted to provide architectural services on two condominium projects and held himself out as an architect. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued.
James U. Moncada
CMJ Architectural Designs & Reprographics, Inc.
Case No. 2004-026260
Probable Cause was found that James Moncada of Pinellas Park, Florida is not licensed and is doing business as CMJ Architectural Designs. Mr. Moncada’s business card holds him out as an architectural draftsman and his invoice describes his services as architectural drafting. Mr. Moncada was previously served with a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist but failed to return the affidavit. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Pilar Santamaria
Case No. 2004-053422
Probable Cause was found that Pilar Santamaria of Pompano Beach, Florida is not licensed and is holding herself out as an “interior architect” on her business card. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Ms. Santamaria sign an affidavit stating she will refrain from offering architectural or interior design services and will change her business card deleting any references to architecture, interior design or words to that effect. If Ms. Santamaria fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Phillip Sides
A.L. Wengerhoff
Case No. 2004-057186
Probable Cause was found that A.L. Wengerhoff of Sarasota, Florida is not licensed and is offering architectural services in an advertisement. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Mr. Wengerhoff sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from offering architectural services and will change the advertisement deleting any references to architecture or words to that effect. If Mr. Wengerhoff fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Frederick J. Goglia
Arcvision, Inc.
Case Nos. 2004-057431 & 2004-057480
Probable Cause was found that Frederick Goglia, a licensed architect, signed and sealed drawings prepared by Thomas Tedrow who is a licensed architect in Colorado but not in Florida and submitted them for the purpose of obtaining a building permit for a project in Lakeland, Florida.
Marc-Michaels Interior Design
Case No. 2004-057801
Probable Cause was found that Marc-Michaels Interior Design of Winter Park, Florida is a licensed interior design firm but is not licensed to practice architecture. In an advertisement in the Florida International Magazine, the firm is offering “Architectural Detailing”. In a previous case, the firm was sent a letter of guidance for using the title “Architectural Designer”. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
