I. Unlicensed Cases

 

John B. Carroll

Carroll Holdings, LLC

Case No. 2007-026416

 

Probable cause was found that John B. Carroll and Carroll Holdings, LLC of Dothan, AL, are not licensed to practice architecture in Florida and contracted to provide architectural services for a residential project. The contract holds Mr. Carroll out as an architect. Further, Mr. Carroll is offering these services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist will be issued.

 

Dreby Construction, Inc.

James N. Dreby

Case No. 2007-048771

 

Probable cause was found that Dreby Construction, Inc. and James N. Dreby of Tampa, Florida are not licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is offering architectural design services in an advertisement. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

 

J & D Interior Designer Center Corp.

Juan Correa

Case No. 2008-013505

 

Probable cause was found that Juan Correa of Hialeah, Florida, is not licensed to practice interior design in Florida and is doing business as J & D Interior Design Center Corp. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

 

 

II. Licensed Cases

 

Terry Kirkland Cook

Case No. 2008-068408

 

Probable cause was found that Terry Kirkland Cook of Jacksonville, Florida, is a Florida licensed interior designer, who sold her business to an unlicensed third party and allowed the new owners to use her license number to offer interior design services. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline will be filed.

 

 

Faulkner Eyo

DZN International, Inc.

Case No. 2008-068062

 

Probable cause was found that Faulkner Eyo of Miami, Florida, is a Florida licensed architect and was paid to provide permit drawings, which were rejected by the Building Department. To date, Mr. Eyo has yet to correct the plans. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline will be filed.

 

John H. Vongunten

Case No. 2008-025291

Probable cause was found that John H. Vongunten of Oteen, FL, is a Florida licensed architect and failed to respond to a random continuing education audit conducted by the Department. Mr. Vongunten was issued a citation, which he is disputing. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline will be filed.
