Gregorio Batista

G. Batista & Associates

Case No. 2009-033209

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $3,000.00 plus costs against Gregorio Batista and G. Batista & Associates.  Mr. Batista and G. Batista & Associates are not licensed to practice architecture and are offering architectural services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

 

David Beatty

Case No. 2009-019508

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order  

imposing reprimand, one year suspension, two years probation and a fine of $3,000.00

plus costs against David Beatty’s license. Mr. Beatty signed and sealed plans for a

residential project while his license was in a suspended status and without ever meeting

with the client.

 

Designs & Permit Drawings, LTD

David Randall Young

Case No. 2009-042904

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order  

imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Designs & Permit Drawings, LTD

and David Randall Young. Designs & Permit Drawings, LTD and Mr. Young are not

licensed to practice architecture and are offering commercial design services and permit

ready drawings in advertisements.

 

Faulkner A. Eyo

DZN International, Inc.

Case No. 2008-068062

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order  

imposing reprimand, two years probation and a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Faulkner A. Eyo’s license. Mr. Eyo was paid to provide permit drawings. The drawings were rejected by the building department and Mr. Eyo has not corrected the plans.

 

 

Gamble & Associates Construction, Inc.

Fred J. Hatfield

Case No. 2009-038831

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $2,500.00 plus costs against Gamble & Associates Construction, Inc. and Fred J. Hatfield. Gamble & Associates Construction, Inc. and Mr. Hatfield are not licensed to practice architecture and contracted to provide architectural services for a church project. Further, Mr. Hatfield is offering these services through a corporation without a certificate of authorization.

 

Kerby Glenn

Case No. 2009-004683

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Kerby Glenn. Mr. Glenn is not licensed to practice architecture and is using the title “Master of Architecture” in his letterhead.

 

James W. Jones

Case No. 2009-041613

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order relinquishing James W. Jones’s Florida license to practice architecture.  Mr. Jones, a licensed architect, signed and sealed plans for a commercial project that were prepared by an unlicensed draftsman. Further, Mr. Jones has been unable to provide the proper documentation for signing and sealing drawings prepared outside of his office.

 

Shelly O. Landry

Case No. 2006-063992

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order revoking Shelly O. Landry’s license to practice interior design. While Respondent was licensed, a final order was entered on September 5, 2006, requiring Ms. Landry to provide evidence of completion of the core curriculum courses and to pay a $500.00 fine within thirty days. Ms. Landry has failed to comply with the terms of the final order.

 

Jamie Ledo

Case No. 2008-038499

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $250.00 plus costs and completing 9 hours of continuing education against Jamie Ledo’s license.  Mr. Ledo is a licensed architect and affirmed at renewal that he had completed the required continuing education hours. Mr. Ledo was chosen for an audit of the continuing education required and has provided proof of only 16 hours during the audit period.

 

 

 

 

Miami Architect Designs, Inc.

Angel D. Gamboa

Case No. 2008-036428

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order  

imposing a fine of $6,000.00 plus costs against Miami Architect Designs, Inc. and Angel

D. Gamboa. Miami Architect Designs, Inc. and Mr. Gamboa are not licensed to

practice architecture and are offering architectural services on his website. Further,

Mr. Gamboa is offering these services through a corporation without a certificate of

authorization.

 

Adolfo Perez-Llana

APL

Case No. 2008-011579

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order  

imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Adolfo Perez-Llana and APL.

Mr. Perez-Llana and APL are not licensed to practice architecture and prepared a

proposal to provide architectural services for a country club. Further, Mr. Perez-Llana is

offering these services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

 

SW3 Consultants, Inc.

Cheree Roberts

Case No. 2009-034683

 

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against SW3 Consultants, Inc. and Cheree Roberts. SW3 Consultants, Inc. and Ms. Roberts are not licensed to practice architecture and contracted to provide architectural services for a residential project and are using the title architect. Further, Ms. Roberts is offering these services through a corporation without a certificate of authorization.
