The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $10,000.00 against Mario Blanco of Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Blanco is not licensed to practice architecture in
Florida and contracted to provide drawings for a residence that were signed and
sealed by an architect. Further, Mr. Blanco held himself out as an
architectural design consultant.
Clive Booker
Design Spectrum International, Inc.
Case Nos. 2005-002161 and 2005-002171
The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine
of $15,000.00 against Clive Booker of Miami, Florida. Mr. Booker is not
licensed to practice interior design in Florida and contracted to provide such
services. Mr. Booker held himself out as an interior designer and is offering
such services through a business entity without a certificate of
authorization.
Huston F. Boothe, Jr.
Case No. 2005-016987
The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine
of $500.00 against Huston Boothe of Folsom, Louisiana. The case was based upon
a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course.
Mr. Boothe’s license to practice architecture shall be suspended until he comes
into compliance.
Bruce C. Bower
Case No. 2006-027583
The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
stipulation placing a reprimand and imposing a fine of $2,375.00 against Bruce
Bower of Winter Haven, Florida license to practice architecture. Mr. Bower
signed and sealed drawings for a residence without ever meeting with the
client. An unlicensed draftsman had the contract with the client and paid the
Subject directly. Further, Mr. Bower’s title block did contain his phone number
or address. Further, in responding to the complaint, Mr. Bower failed to
include his license number in his letterhead.

The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine
of $500.00 against Frederick Brauning of St. Clair Shores, MI. The case was
based upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code
curriculum course. Mr. Brauning’s license to practice architecture shall be
suspended until he comes into compliance.

The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Susan Breitbart of
Cooper City, Florida. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for
failure to complete the code curriculum course. Ms. Breitbart’s license to
practice interior design shall be suspended until she comes into compliance.

Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $10,000.00 against Brukman & Chechik
of Coral Gables, Florida. The firm is not licensed to practice architecture or
interior design in Florida and contracted to provide such services on a
condominium project which included preparing plans for the common area.
Further, the firm held themselves out as architects in their title block.

The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine
of $15,000.00 plus costs against Alan Cohen of Dania, Florida. Mr. Cohen was
previously a licensed interior designer; however, his license was suspended for
failing to take the building code core curriculum course. Mr. Cohen was never
license to practice architecture and his website offered both interior design
and architectural services.

Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $7,500.00 against Concepto Uno of
Miami Beach, Florida. The firm is not licensed to practice interior design in
Florida and contracted to provide such services for a hair studio. The contract
specifically stated that interior design services would be provided.
William P. Feldcamp

Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against William Feldcamp of
Palm Beach, Florida. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for
failure to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Feldcamp’s license to
practice architecture shall be suspended until he comes into compliance.

The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine
of $1,500.00 against Mitzie Fisher of St. Petersburg, Florida. Ms. Fisher is a
licensed interior designer in Florida but was offering architectural services on
her website. Further, Ms. Fisher was operating through a business entity
without a certificate of authorization.

Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine
of $500.00 against Herman Gradick of Indianapolis, IN. The case was based upon
a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course.
Mr. Gradick’s license to practice architecture shall be suspended until he comes
into compliance.

The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 against Tracy Gregory of
Palm Harbor, Florida. Ms. Gregory is not licensed to practice architecture or
interior design in Florida and prepared preliminary drawings for the Tampa Hotel
and presented the drawings to the Tampa City Historic Preservation Architectural
Review Committee.

The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation and imposing a fine of $1,000.00 against Neil Hall of
Slidell, Louisiana. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the
continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Hall when he renewed his license.
Mr. Hall affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but he failed
to provide evidence of having taken any continuing education.

Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation revoking Home Design Services, Inc. of Altamonte Springs,
Florida license to practice architecture. The firm has a certificate of
authorization but it no longer employs a licensed architect even though it is
offering architectural services.
Patricia Kukes
Case No. 2005-056883
The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $1,000.00 against Patricia Kukes of
Boca Raton, Florida license to practice interior design. Ms. Kukes is required
to complete 36 hours of continuing education within 180 days from the date the
final order is entered. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the
continuing education credits claimed by Ms. Kukes when she renewed her license.
Ms. Kukes provided evidence of having taken only four hours of continuing
education.
Ronald Z. Kurowski
Case No. 2005-038674
The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order reprimanding and
placing Ronald Kurowski of Lakeland, Florida license to practice architecture on
probation for two years and imposing a fine of $1,000.00. Mr. Kurowski signed
and sealed plans that were not sufficiently detailed. The plans were reviewed
by the Board’s consultant who determined that there was sufficient evidence to
find a violation had occurred. Further, Mr. Kurowski’s title block was not in
compliance.

Case No. 2005-020262
The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine
of $10,000.00 against Jeff Lewis of Sunrise, Florida. Mr. Lewis is not licensed
as an architect in Florida and his title block for a residential project offered
“architectural drafting and design”. Further, Mr. Lewis held himself out as an
architect to the client.

The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Michael Livingston of
Las Vegas, NV. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure
to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Livingston’s license to practice
architecture shall be suspended until he comes into compliance.

settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $250.00 against Lisa Lovetto of
Naples, Florida. Ms. Lovetto is required to complete eight hours of continuing
education within 90 days from the date the final order is entered. The
complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits
claimed by Ms. Lovetto when she renewed her license. Ms. Kukes provided
evidence of having taken only 17 hours of continuing education.

of $15,000.00 against Mary Ann Maffia of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Ms. Maffia is
not licensed to practice interior design in Florida and is offering interior
design services on her business card and website. Further, Ms. Maffia is doing
business as MM Interior Design, Inc.
Mariela Martin-Fernandez
Case No. 2005-065538
The Florida Board of
Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $1,000.00 against Mariela
Martin-Fernandez of Miami, Florida. Ms. Martin-Fernandez is required to
complete 40 hours of continuing education. The complaint was initiated based on
an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Ms. Martin-Fernandez
when she renewed her license. Ms. Martin-Fernandez failed to provide any
evidence of having taken any continuing education hours.

settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Mariela Mesa of Miami,
Florida. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure to
complete the code curriculum course. Ms. Mesa’s license to practice interior
design will be suspended until she comes into compliance.

Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a
settlement stipulation placing a reprimand and imposing a fine of $1,500.00
against Moulton Lane, P.L. of Vero Beach, Florida license to practice
architecture. The firm failed to notify the owner of change orders during the
course of construction. The contract required the firm to prepare change orders
for the owner’s approval. David Moulton also allowed an employee to hold
himself out as an architect and is operating through a business entity without a
certificate of authorization.

of $10,000.00 against Milton Pasco of Clearwater, Florida. Mr. Pasco is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and entered into a contract to
provide such services for a commercial project.

residence. Mr. Pina’s business card offers architectural services and he is
offering such services through a business entity without a certificate of
authorization.

settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 against Camilla Popham and
Noble Interiors, Inc. of Miami, Florida. Ms. Popham and Noble Interiors, Inc.
are not licensed to practice interior design in Florida and contracted to
provide such services for a residence. The contract specifically offers
interior design services and they prepared drawings for a project that held
themselves out as interior designers.

upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum
course. Ms. Visconti’s license to practice architecture shall be suspended

Florida. Mr. Vogel is required to complete 18 hours of continuing education
within 120 days from the date the final order is entered. The complaint was
initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr.
Vogel when he renewed his license. Mr. Vogel provided evidence of having taken
only 12 hours of continuing education.

of $5,000.00 against Keith Wallace of Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Wallace is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is advertising under the
architect heading of the yellow pages as “Keith G. Wallace Architects”.
Further, Mr. Wallace’s title block also offers architectural services.

settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Ralph Warburton of
Plano, Texas. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure
to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Warburton’s license to practice
interior design shall be suspended until he comes into compliance.
