Case No. 2005-061759

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Irving Addis of Ft. Myers, Florida. Mr. Addis will be required to complete 40 hours of continuing education. Mr. Addis’ license to practice architecture will be suspended until he comes into compliance. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Addis when he renewed his license. Mr. Addis affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but the audit showed a deficiency.

Stephen Alexander
Case No. 2005-045990

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $750.00 plus costs against Stephen Alexander of Indianapolis, IN. Mr. Alexander will be required to complete 25 hours of continuing education. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Alexander when he renewed his license. Mr. Alexander affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but the audit showed a deficiency.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $750.00 plus costs against Roger Allen Bartels of South Norwalk, Connecticut. Mr. Bartels will be required to complete 22.5 hours of continuing education. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Bartels when he renewed his license. Mr. Bartels affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but he failed to provide proof of having taken any continuing education credits during the audit period.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 plus costs against Carlos Bravo of Miramar, Florida. Mr. Bravo will be required to complete 16 hours of continuing education. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Bravo when he renewed his license. Mr. Bravo affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but the audit showed a deficiency.

The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Buck’s license will be suspended until he completes the required course.

Mr. Buyyounski’s license to practice architecture will be suspended until he completes 40 hours of continuing education. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Buyyounski when he renewed his license. Mr. Buyyounski affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but he failed to provide evidence of having taken any continuing education credits during the audit period.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Thomas Camm of Palm Beach, Florida. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Camm’s license will be suspended until he completes the required course.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against Carrie Nemec of Punta Gorda, Florida. Carrie’s Interiors or Carrie Nemec are not licensed in the State of Florida and were offering interior design services in an advertisement that appeared in the Charlotte County Sun Newspaper.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $2,500.00 plus costs against Constance Crosby of Pensacola, Florida. Ms. Crosby is not licensed in the State of Florida and was offering commercial and interior design services in the yellow pages and on her website.

Deborah Desilets
Case No. 2005-065607

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Deborah Desilets of Miami, Florida. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Ms. Desilets when she renewed her license. Ms. Desilets affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but an audit showed a deficiency.

Jeanne Marie Durr
Durr and Associates, Inc.
Case No. 2005-056173

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $10,000.00 plus costs against Jeanne Durr of Wellington, Florida. Ms. Durr is not licensed in the State of Florida and contracted to provide interior design services for a residence. Ms. Durr’s business card offers both interior design and architectural services. Further, Ms. Durr is offering interior design services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

Luther L. Eubanks

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Luther Eubanks of Plantation, Florida. Mr. Eubanks’ license to practice architecture will be suspended until he completes 40 hours of continuing education. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Eubanks when he renewed his license. Mr. Eubanks affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but he failed to provide evidence of having taken any continuing education credits during the audit period.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Shirley Friedman of Boca Raton, Florida. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Ms. Friedman’s license will be suspended until she completes the required course.

Clara T. Garcia

Case No. 2006-002296

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against Clara Garcia of Miami, Florida. Ms. Garcia is a licensed General Contractor but not licensed to practice architecture in Florida and contracted and provided architectural services for a residence. Ms. Garcia also told the Complainant that she was an architect. Further, Ms. Garcia is offering architectural services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $500.00 against Grant Genova of Montreal, Quebec and requiring him to complete the required course. Mr. Genova’s license to practice architecture will be suspended until he comes into compliance. The case was based upon a citation which was issued on for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Genova failed to provide proof of completing the required course and pay the fine.

Sharon L. Gold
Case No. 2005-020705

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $500.00 against Sharon Gold of Longwood, Florida. Ms. Gold’s license to practice interior design will be suspended until she comes into compliance. The case was based upon a citation which was issued on May 24, 2005 for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Ms. Gold disputed the citation but she failed to provide proof of completing the required course and pay the fine.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing costs against Stacey Goldman of Delray Beach, Florida. Ms. Goldman is not licensed in the State of Florida and was doing business as Great Spaces Interior Design and is offering interior design services on her signs in front of her place of business and on a sign on her car.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $10,000.00 plus costs against Goodman Design, Inc. of Boca Raton, Florida. Goodman Design, Inc. is unlicensed and was offering interior design services on its website. The website also referred to a Spa Building in which the Subjects claim to have provided architectural services.

Richard Guzman

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against Richard Guzman of Bonita Springs, Florida. Mr. Guzman provided preliminary conceptual drawings for a project known as Family Medical of Naples. Further, Mr. Guzman is offering architectural services in an advertisement and on his webpage.

David Hawkins
Case No. 2005-015530

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $500.00 against David Hawkins of Akron, Ohio. Mr. Hawkins’ license to practice interior design will be suspended until he comes into compliance. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Hawkins failed to provide proof of completing the required course or pay the fine.

Zandra Henriquez-Simm

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Zandra Henriquez-Simm of Miami, Florida. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Ms. Simm’s license will be suspended until she completes the required course.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 plus costs against Interior Marketplace of Marco Island, Florida. Interior Marketplace was offering commercial and interior design services in an advertisement that appeared in the Marco Island Sun Times. The firm has been an applicant for an interior design license since 1995.

Charles Maurice Johnson, Jr.
Case No. 2005-061889

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation in which Charles Johnson of Mfufreesboro, Tennessee will voluntarily relinquish his license. The complaint was initiated based on Mr. Johnson’s failurte to respond to a request for an audit of his continuing education credits.

Jan Jones
Jan Jones International, Inc.
Case No. 2005-062972

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $15,000.00 plus costs against Jan Jones of Boca Raton, Florida. Jan Jones is not licensed and contracted to provide interior design services for a condominium. Subject’s business card offers interior design services and the Subject advertises under the interior design section in the yellow pages. Further, the Subject is offering interior design services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

Alberto Campari Knoepffler

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Alberto Knoepffler of Naples, Florida. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Knoepffler when he renewed his license. Mr. Knoepffler affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but the audit showed a deficiency. Mr. Knoepffler’s license will be suspended until he completes 40 hours of continuing education.

Burton S. Landau
Case No. 2005-061902

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $750.00 plus costs against Burton Landau of Bloomingdale, New Jersey. Further, Mr. Landau will be required to complete 29 hours of continuing education. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Landau when he renewed his license. Mr. Landau affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours; however he failed to provide evidence of having taken any continuing education hours during the audit period.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $500.00 against Shelley Landry of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ms. Landry’s license to practice interior design will be suspended until she comes into compliance. The case was based upon a citation which was issued on for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Ms. Landry failed to provide proof of completing the required course and pay the fine.

Kenneth J. Lang, Sr.

Case No. 2005-007436

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing costs against Kenneth Lang of Lake Worth, Florida. Mr. Lang is not licensed and contracted to perform “Architectural site/roof plan” for a residence. Mr. Lang has prior disciplinary history with the Department.

Luis A. Lara
Case No. 2006-008074

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $3,000.00 plus costs against Luis Lara of Brandon, Florida. Mr. Lara is an applicant for licensure. Mr. Lara prepared drawings for a commercial project. His title block held him out as an architectural designer and an Associate member of AIA. Further, the Mr. Lara prepared an invoice for architectural services.

Warren Lee Lisenbee
Case Nos. 2005-031899 & 2005-033883

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order suspending Warren Lisenbee of Crestview, Florida, license to practice architecture and imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs. Mr. Lisenbee signed engineering sheets for two residential projects that lacked sufficient detail to certify windloading. The plans were reviewed by Jerry Hicks who determined that there was sufficient evidence to find a violation.

Nancy Neuberg-Wright
Case No. 2005-019504

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Nancy Neuberg-Wright of Stuart, Florida. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Ms. Wright’s license will be suspended until she completes the required course.

Sol Niego
Case No. 2005-020790

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 against Sol Niego of West Hempstead, New York. The case was based upon a citation which was issued for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Niego’s license will be suspended until he completes the required course.

Timothy Salyer

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Timothy Salyer of Indianapolis, Indiana. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Salyer when he renewed his license. Mr. Salyer affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours; however he failed to provide evidence of having taken any continuing education credits during the audit period. Mr. Salyer’s license will be suspended until he completes 40 hours of continuing education hours.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against Christopher Sanchez of Miami, Florida. Mr. Sanchez is not licensed and contracted and provided architectural services for a residence. Mr. Sanchez also told the Complainant that he was an architect.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $7,500.00 plus costs against Reiner Sanchez of Orlando, Florida. Mr. Sanchez is not licensed and contracted and provided architectural services for a dental office. Mr. Sanchez also held himself out as an architect.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $250.00 plus costs against Robert Schennum of Sunny Isles, Florida. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Schennum when he renewed his license. Mr. Schennum affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours; however an audit showed a deficiency.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $500.00 against Sondra Schiffman of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Ms. Schiffman’s license to practice interior design will be suspended until she comes into compliance. The case was based upon a citation which was issued on for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Ms. Schiffman failed to provide proof of completing the required course and pay the fine.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $500.00 plus costs against Kent Seyffer of Glen Rock, New Jersey. Mr. Seyffer was previously a licensed architect in Florida; however, his license has been null and void since 1991. Mr. Seyffer was advertising under the architect heading in the yellow pages and is doing business as Seyffer & Koch Architectural Group.

Steven Shortridge
Case No. 2005-045987

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $750.00 plus costs against Steven Shortridge of Culver City, California. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Shortridge when he renewed his license. Mr. Shortridge affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours; however an audit showed a deficiency.

Simmons and Saray Interiors Group, Inc. is not licensed and provided interior design plans for an office for Cline Resources. Such services were provided through a corporation without a certificate of authorization.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $250.00 plus costs against Craig Smith of Norman, Oklahoma. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Smith when he renewed his license. Mr. Smith affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours; however an audit showed a deficiency.

Robert B. Snell
Case No. 2005-020282

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $500.00 against Robert Snell of Orlando, Florida. Mr. Snell’s license to practice interior design will be suspended until he comes into compliance. The case was based upon a citation which was issued on for failure to complete the code curriculum course. The case was presented to the Probable Cause Panel and an Administrative Complaint was filed. Mr. Snell submitted a letter in response but failed to dispute the facts contained in the Administrative Complaint.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Richard Stagg of Ponce Inlet, Florida. Mr. Stagg’s license will be suspended until he completes 40 hours of continuing education. The complaint was initiated based on an audit of the continuing education credits claimed by Mr. Stagg when he renewed his license. Mr. Stagg affirmed at renewal that he completed the required hours but failed to provide evidence of having taken any continuing education credits during the audit period.

Patricia Stough
Case No. 2005-048312

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $500.00 plus costs against Patricia Stough of Dunedin, Florida.

Roland V. Stout
Case No. 2005-050234

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation reprimanding and placing Roland Stout of Punta Gorda, Florida, license to practice architecture on probation for two years and imposing a fine of $2,000.00 plus costs. The complaint was filed by the Building Department and it was alleged that Ms. Stout signed and sealed a report that was below minimum acceptable standards. The report was requested from the Building Department because an addition to a residence had been constructed without any permits. The report was review by consultant, Jim Anstis, who determined that a violation has occurred.

Thomas Testerman

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $500.00 against Thomas Testerman of Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Testerman’s license to practice architecture will be suspended until she comes into compliance. The case was based upon a citation which was issued on for failure to complete the code curriculum course. Mr. Testerman failed to provide proof of completing the required course and pay the fine.

Julius H. Wynn
Phoenix Construction Services, Inc.
Case No. 2005-057944

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing costs against Julius Wynn of Tallahassee, Florida. Mr. Wynn is not licensed to practice architecture and contracted and provided architectural services for a restaurant. The Subject is doing business as Phoenix Construction Services, Inc.

Shirley A. Wooster, Jr.
Case No. 2006-009861

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $1,000.00 plus costs against Shirley Wooster, Jr. of Davie, Florida. Mr. Wooster was previously licensed; however, his license went into a null and void status in 1989. Mr. Wooster signed and sealed plans for a residential project in 2006.
