Robert P. Kahn
Case No. 2005-035530
Probable Cause was found that Architectural Specialty Services, Inc. of Lake Worth, Florida is not licensed to practice architecture in the State of Florida and is doing business as Architectural Specialty Services, Inc. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the request that Mr. Kahn sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from offering architectural services and will change his business name deleting any references to architecture or words to that effect. If Mr. Kahn fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Nikki Bowden
Case No. 2005-043163
Probable Cause was found that Nikki Bowden of Tallahassee, Florida is not licensed to practice interior design in the State of Florida. Ms. Bowden is offering interior design services in an advertising flyer and in the yellow pages. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued.

Probable Cause was found that Design Concepts, Inc. of Daytona Beach, Florida is not licensed to practice interior design in the State of Florida and is offering interior design services in an advertisement that appeared in the Southern Halifax Magazine. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the request that Ms. Blackadar sign an affidavit stating she will refrain from offering interior design services and will change the advertisement deleting any references to interior design or words to that effect. If Ms. Blackadar fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Jeanne Marie Durr
Durr and Associates, Inc.

Probable Case was found that Jeanne Marie Durr of Wellington, Florida is not licensed to practice interior design in the State of Florida and contracted to provide interior design services for a residence. Ms. Durr's business card offers interior design and architectural services. Further, Ms. Durr is operating through a corporation without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was filed and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.

Probable Cause was found that Joseph P. Gould of Ocala, Florida is not licensed to practice architecture in the State of Florida and is holding himself out as a "Sr. Architectural Designer" and is offering commercial design on his business card. Further, Mr. Gould also offers architectural services on his website. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the request that Mr. Gould sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from offering architectural services and will change his business card and website deleting any references to architecture or words to that effect. If Mr. Gould fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable Cause was found that Steven Greenhut of Delray Beach, Florida is not licensed to practice interior design in the State of Florida and is offering interior design services on his business card. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the request that Mr. Greenhut sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from offering interior design services and will change his business card deleting any references to interior design or words to that effect. If Mr. Greenhut fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable Case was found that Klaybor and Associates, Inc. of Orange Park, Florida is not licensed to practice architecture in the State of Florida. Mr. Klaybor is holding himself out as an architectural designer on his webpage. Mr. Klaybor was previously issued a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist but has refused to return the affidavit. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.

Probable Cause was found that Patrick Knowles of Fort Lauderdale, Florida was previously a licensed interior designer; however, his license went null and void on March 1, 2003. On the internet and in an advertisement, Mr. Knowles is offering interior design services and is using his previous license number. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued.

Probable Case was found that Marie Pearson of Odessa, Florida is not licensed to practice interior design in the State of Florida and is offering interior design services in a brochure and on her website. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the request that Ms. Pearson sign an affidavit stating she will refrain from offering interior design services and will change her brochure and website deleting any references to interior design or words to that effect. If Ms. Pearson fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Mr. Baker affirmed at renewal that he had completed the required hours; however, the audit showed a deficiency. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.

Probable Cause was found that Lowell Dewhirst of Naples, Florida, a licensed architect in the State of Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. Mr. Dewhirst signed a contract to perform architectural services for a residential project. Mr. Dewhirst was paid $3,500.00 and abandoned the project and closed his office without fulfilling the terms of the contract or returning the fee. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.

Mary Marsh Lasseter
Case No. 2005-027029
Probable Cause was found that Mary Lasseter of Bradenton, Florida a licensed architect in the State of Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. The Sarasota Building Department rejected two sets of plans that were prepared by an engineer because they were not signed and sealed by an architect. Ms. Lasseter took the plans, made no revisions, did not maintain any documentation, and signed and sealed the drawings. On one set of plans, Ms. Lasseter placed a sticker over the engineer's title block with her information. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Dov Liven
Case No. 2005-15996
Probable Cause was found that Dov Liven of Miami, Florida, a licensed architect in the State of Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. Mr. Liven failed to provide to the Board of Architecture and Interior Design proof of completion of the core curriculum courses, or pass the equivalency test of the Building Code Training Program. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Misty McPherson
Interior Motives Design Group
Case Nos. 2005-025067 & 2005-025084
Probable Cause was found that Misty McPherson of Maitland, Florida, a licensed interior designer in the State of Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. Ms. McPherson is offering services as an "Interior Architectural Designer" on a business card that does not contain a license number. Further, Ms. McPherson is offering such services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Rabbani Abu Muhammed
Rabbani Muhammad Associates Architects and Engineers, P.A.
Case No. 2005-052201
Probable Cause was found that Rabbani Abu Muhammed of Tallahassee, Florida, a licensed architect in the State of Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. Mr. Muhammed signed a contract to perform architectural services for a commercial project. Mr. Muhammed was paid $6,000.00 but has not provided construction documents for permitting and it has been over five years. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Joseph Dominick Pozzuoli
Joseph Pozzuoli Architects, P.A.
Case No. 2005-024936
Probable Cause was found that Joseph Pozzuoli of Flagler Beach, Florida, a licensed architect in the State of Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. Mr. Pozzuoli signed an inspection reporting stating he had witnessed the installation of 17 dowels, however at the time he had not. Once the Building Department inspected the property, it was determined that many of the dowels were improperly stalled even though the Mr. Pozzuoli's report stating he had observed their installation. Mr. Pozzuoli admitted not having observed the dowels. The Building Department stated that if they accepted Mr. Pozzuoli's report, it could have placed the integrity of the building in question. Mr. Pozzuoli is also operating through a business entity without a certificate of authorization. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Christine Desiree Snyder
Case No. 2005-046362
Probable Cause was found that Christine Desiree Snyder of Sarasota, Florida, a licensed architect in the State of Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. Ms. Snyder has failed to satisfy the terms of a Final Order that was issued on May 20, 2005. The Final Order required a fine of $10,000.00 and costs of $456.00 be paid within thirty days. Ms. Snyder has failed to pay any amounts due. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
