Case No. 2003-056009
Probable Cause was found that Patricia Davidson was offering interior design services on business cards and on the Internet and her business name contained the words "Interior Design". A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.
Tomas Frenes
Tomas Frenes Design Studio
Case No. 2003-042110
Probable Cause was found that Tomas Frenes was offering interior design services in an advertisement. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Mr. Frenes sign an affidavit stating he changed his advertisement and he will no longer offer such services in the future. If Mr. Frenes fails to return the affidavit, an administrative complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Kise, Straw & Kolodner
Case No. 2003-043658
Probable Cause was found that Kise, Straw & Kolodner was offering architectural services without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Mr. Straw sign an affidavit stating the business will refrain from holding itself out as providing architectural services unless properly licensed. If Mr. Straw fails to return the affidavit, an administrative complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Jay Tenuta
Probable Cause was found that Jay Tenuta was offering interior design services in an advertisement. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Mr. Tenuta sign an affidavit stating he has changed his advertisement. If Mr. Tenuta fails to return the affidavit, an administrative complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Marlene M. Liriano

Probable Cause was found that Marlene M. Liriano was offering interior design services in an advertisement. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Ms. Liriano sign an affidavit stating she has changed her advertisement and will not offer such services in the future. If Ms. Liriano fails to return the affidavit, an administrative complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable Cause was found that Thomas G. Lynn was offering architectural services. Mr. Lynn is licensed in Georgia, but his letterhead offers architectural services with a Florida address. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Probable Cause was found that Joseph M. McHarris contracted with the City of Marco Island to perform architectural services and held himself as an architect on his resume. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Probable Cause was found that Johnny Moore contracted to provide architectural services and held himself out as an architect on the Internet. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.
Joseph A. Rispoli

Probable Cause was found that Joseph A. Rispoli held himself out as the architect of record on his resume for numerous projects. Further, Mr. Rispoli signed two contracts to provide architectural services. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

Probable Cause was found that Eduardo Roussell contracted to perform architectural services. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.
Julie Schiff
Case No. 2003-042285
Probable Cause was found that Julie Schiff signed a letter as "Project Architect". A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.
George J. Sorbara
Case No. 2003-042527
Probable Cause was found that George J. Sorbara is doing business as Architectural Drafting and Design. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the request that Mr. Sorbara sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from holding himself out as an architect and he will change the name of his business. If Mr. Sorbara fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Rolando Sosa
Case No. 2003-002403
Probable Cause was found that Rolando Sosa held himself our as the project architect on numerous projects. Further, Mr. Sosa signed four contracts to provide architectural services. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.
Tim K. Tripp
Case No. 2003-042259
Probable cause was found that Tim K. Tripp performed architectural services without a license. Mr. Trip was previously licensed, but his license is now null and void. Mr. Tripp contracted, prepared plans, and was paid for architectural services. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.

William Arthur
Case No. 2003-001523
Probable cause was found that William Arthur's seal was placed over the seal of a professional engineer who actually prepared the set of plans. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Janet L. Bakel
Case No. 2003-001287
Probable cause was found that Janet L. Bakel was the vice-president of Sternberg Interiors, Inc. Sternberg did not have a certificate of authorization. In December 2001, Mr. Sternberg issued a press release offering interior design services. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Eric D. Baker
Case No. 2003-001845
Probable cause was found that Eric D. Baker failed to include his license number on a sign and failed to respond to all inquiries from the initial investigation. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Mr. Baker sign an affidavit stating he has changed his sign to include his license number. If Mr. Baker fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable cause was found that Jorge L. Bouza signed and sealed documents which were not prepared under his supervisory control. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Robert Wayne Herrmann
Case No. 2002-011607
Probable cause was found that Robert Wayne Herrmann revised structural drawings prepared by a professional engineer, and submitted the drawings for permitting purposes without the consent or knowledge of the professional engineer. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Douglas A. Mummaw
Mummaw & Associates, Inc.
Case Nos. 2003-042282 & 2003-042289
Probable cause was found that Douglas A. Mummaw signed documents as an architect and he is unlicensed. The firm, Mummaw & Associates, Inc. is licensed, but the firm is advertising using a null and void interior designer license n umber and permits unlicensed individuals to act on its behalf. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with the filing of an Administrative Complaint seeking fines.
Rispoli-Sosa Architecture, Inc.
Case No. 2003-002391
Probable cause was found that Rispoli-Sosa Architecture, Inc., has not had a qualifier since April 11, 2003, and two of the firm's principals, who are unlicensed, have continuously held themselves out as architects under the firm name. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Marsha S. Shane

Probable cause was found that Marsha S. Shane offered interior design services through a corporation that does not have a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Ms. Shane sign an affidavit stating she has changed her advertisement.
Donald Stansell
Case No. 2003-001559
Probable cause was found that Donald Stansell signed seven certificates of payment which state they were bases on on-site observation; however, Mr. Stansell did not inspect the site. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
