Mr. Hawari is not licensed and is offering architectural services, interior design services, and commercial design services on his business card.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a $5,000.00 fine plus costs against Dora Duke. Ms. Duke is not licensed and is offering interior design services in a magazine advertisement. Ms. Duke’s web site indicates that she performed design services for commercial projects. Further, Ms. Duke is offering such services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $2,500.00 plus costs against William A. Byatt. Mr. Byatt is not licensed to practice architecture and contracted to provide architectural services for a commercial project.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $15,000.00 plus costs against Shelly Riehl David. Ms. David is not licensed to practice interior design and is offering interior design services in an advertisement in the Florida Design magazine. These services are being offered through a corporation without a certificate of authorization. Further, Shelly Riehl David is holding herself out as an interior designer on her web site.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against David DeHaas. Mr. DeHaas is not licensedto practice architecture. Mr. DeHaas altered signed and sealed plans without the permission of the licensed architect.

Olatubosun Giwa

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a stipulation placing a reprimand against Olatubosun Giwa’s license to practice architecture. An unlicensed individual entered into a contract to provide architectural drawings for a residential project. Mr. Giwa acted as the architect for the project without ever meeting with the client.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against Hilda Flack. Ms. Flack is not licensed to practice interior design and was previously disciplined for offering interior design services on her web site. It has been over a year and a half and the web site has not been changed. Further, in a recent advertisement, Ms. Flack is offering commercial design services.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against ID Group, LLC. ID Group, LLC. is not licensed and provided architectural services on a commercial project. ID Group, LLC. is listed as the architect on the drawings. Further, Mr. Thompson is offering these services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

Jennifer Michelle Irizarry

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $1,250.00 plus costs against Jennifer Michelle Irizarry. Ms. Irizarry is not licensed and contracted to provide interior design services on a commercial project. Ms. Irizarry does not hold herself out as an interior designer, however, the contract is to perform design services for a doctor’s office. Ms. Irizarry also has an advertisement in which she offers “architectural interiors”. Further, Ms. Irizarry is offering these services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $2,500.00 plus costs against Virginia Dell Karp. Ms. Karp is not licensed to practice interior design and contracted to provide interior design services on a country club project.

Michael A. McEachron

Case No. 2007-041855

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against Michael A. McEachron. Mr. McEachron is not licensed to practice architecture and contracted to provide signed and sealed drawings for a residential project.

Dennis Mitchell

Case No. 2005-007781

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation placing a reprimand and imposing a fine of $3,000.00 plus costs against Dennis Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell is licensed to practice architecture, however, Mr. Mitchell signed and sealed drawings that were prepared by an interior design firm. Mr. Mitchell has been unable to provide documentation that he properly provided responsible supervisory control for documents prepared out of his office. Mr. Mitchell was also disciplined by the Nevada Board for failing to exercise proper responsible supervisory control for a project in that state.

Jamal S. Nagamia

Case No. 2007-047142

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $5,000.00 plus costs against Jamal S. Nagamia. Mr. Nagamia is a licensed Professional Engineer. Mr. Nagamia signed and sealed plans for a church without the involvement of an architect. The architectural drawings were prepared by an unlicensed draftsman that entered into a contract with the client that offered architectural services.

Earl G. Nelson

Case No. 2007-044565

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order imposing a fine of $15,000.00 plus costs against Earl G. Nelson. Mr. Nelson is not licensed to practice architecture. Mr. Nelson was previously licensed; however, his license went delinquent on March 1, 1993, and then into a null and void status on March 1, 1995. The complaint is based on a case in which Mr. Nelson practiced architecture, held himself out as an architect and used his null and void license number.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation placing a reprimand and imposing a fine of $3,000.00 plus costs against Gerald J. Oakley. An unlicensed individual prepared drawings for a commercial project. The contract entered into by the unlicensed individual offers architectural services. Mr. Oakley signed and sealed the drawings without ever meeting with the client.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $3,500.00 plus costs against Nerie Annett Pagan. Ms. Pagan is not licensed to practice architecture and contracted to provide architectural services for a residential project. Further, Ms. Pagan is doing business as TDI Architectural Design Services and is offering these services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $10,000.00 plus costs against Quantified Marketing Group, LLC and Aaron Allen. The firm is not licensed and contracted to provide interior design services on its web site. The web site also includes commercial projects in the State of Florida. Further, Mr. Allen is offering such services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization.

The Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design agreed to enter a final order approving a settlement stipulation imposing a fine of $2,250.00 plus costs against Timothy Russell. Mr. Russell is licensed to practice architecture, however, an unlicensed individual entered into a contract and prepared drawings for a commercial project. Mr. Russell signed and sealed the drawings without maintaining the proper documentation for plans prepared outside of his office and his title block on the plans is in violation.

Mr. Scholten is not licensed to practice architecture but is a licensed general contractor. Mr. Scholten contracted to provide design drawings for a commercial project. Further, Mr. Scholten is offering these services through a corporation without a certificate of authorization.

Mr. Vermey signed and sealed the drawings without ever meeting with the client.

Further, Mr. Myers is offering these services through a corporation without a certificate of authorization.

Ms. Younts’ website offers both interior design and architectural services. This is a second offense.
