Unlicensed Cases
David M. Asbell
Asbell Associates
Case No. 2003-077737, 2003-077749
Probable cause was found that David Asbell and Asbell Associates contracted to perform architectural services in Florida without a proper license. Mr. Asbell is licensed in Georgia, but not in Florida. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed, along with the issuance of a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist.
John Eisenlau
Case No. 2003-070802
Probable Cause was found that John Eisenlau offered to provide architectural services on the Marion County Jail Expansion Project and held himself out as an architect. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed, along with the issuance of a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist.
Jimmy Lee Wallace
Onyx Design
Case No. 2003-061680
Probable Cause was found that Jimmy Wallace contracted to provide architectural services on a commercial project and held himself out as an architect on his business card using the license number of another licensed architect. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed, along with the issuance of a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist.
Archizona Architect, Inc.
Scott M. Di Stefano
Case No. 2003-070934
Probable Cause was found that Archizona Architect, Inc. was offering architectural services without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Mr. Di Stefano sign an affidavit stating he will no longer offer or provide architectural services through any business entity unless properly licensed. If Mr. Di Stefano fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Gyo Obata
Rispoli-Sosa & HOK
Case No. 2003-070807
Probable cause was found that Gyo Obata offered architectural services without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Mr. Obata sign an affidavit stating he will no longer offer or provide architectural services through any business entity unless properly licensed. If Mr. Obata fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Rispoli -Sosa & HOK
Case No. 2003-070800
Probable cause was found that Rispoli-Sosa & HOK offered architectural services without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a request that Mr. Rispoli sign an affidavit stating he will no longer offer or provide architectural services through any business entity unless properly licensed. If Mr. Rispoli fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Richard Gibbs
Rosemary Beach Land Company
Case Nos. 2003-070854, 2003-070860
Probable Cause was found that Richard Gibbs reviewed plans that have been
prepared by a licensed architect on behalf of a homeowners association to
determine their compliance. Mr. Gibbs referred to himself as the "Town
Architect." A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued, along with a
request that Mr. Gibbs sign an affidavit stating he will no longer offer such
services in the future and that he will no longer hold himself out as the "Town
Architect". If Mr. Gibbs fails to return the affidavit, an administrative
complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Vernon Thompson
Case No. 2003-067642
Probable cause was found that Vernon Thompson entered in a contract to
perform "architectural services" on a residential project. Mr. Thompson's
business card holds himself as an architect. A Notice and Order to Cease and
Desist was issued, along with a request that Mr. Thompson sign an affidavit
stating he changed his business card and contract to remove any reference to
architect or architectural services. If Mr. Thompson fails to return the
affidavit, an administrative complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Licensed Cases
Richard Cortes
Case No. 2003-077312
Probable Cause was found that Richard Cortes, a licensed architect, entered
into a contract to perform contracting services for a residence. Mr. Cortes is
not a licensed contractor. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was
filed.
Kimberly Ann Dellastatious
Case No. 2003-074891
Probable Cause was found that Kimberly Ann Dellastatious, a licensed
architect, advertised services in a deceptive manner by holding herself out as a
member of AIA when she was not such a member. An Administrative Complaint
seeking fines was filed.
Roberto Lence
Case No. 2003-061697
Probable Cause was found that Roberto Lence, a licensed architect, failed to
exercise proper responsible supervisory control. Mr. Lence signed and sealed two
projects while working in Tampa, for an unlicensed draftsman in Tallahassee. Mr.
Lence never met with the clients. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline
was filed.
Stephen Lloyd
Case No. 2003-070563
Probable Cause was found that Stephen Lloyd, a licensed interior designer was
involved in a scheme to run money through his interior design firm's account
based on a fraudulent invoice in order for a non-profit organization to purchase
a Corvette for the out going president of Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Loyd
has entered into an Agreement for Deferred Prosecution with State Attorney's
Office. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Warren Wuertz
Architechnique Design, Inc.
Case No. 2003-070667
Case No. 2003-070657
Probable Cause was found that Warren Wuertz, a licensed architect, failed to
exercise proper responsible supervisory control. Mr. Wuertz qualifies
Architechnique Design, Inc. and is also the architect allegedly in responsible
supervisory control. Mr. Wuertz lives in Sun City Center, Florida, and the
offices of Architechnique Design, Inc. are in Pompano Beach, Florida,
approximately 244 miles away. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was
filed.
Michelle Borst
Rispoli-Sosa & HOK
Case No. 2003-070829
Probable cause was found that Michelle Borst offered architectural services
without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist
was issued, along with a request that Ms. Borst sign an affidavit stating she
will no longer offer or provide architectural services through any business
entity unless properly licensed. If Ms. Borst fails to return the affidavit, an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
