Stephan Alpert, of Clearwater, Florida is not licensed to practice interior
designer in Florida and he is holding himself out as an interior designer. A
Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the requirement that
Mr. Alpert sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from holding himself out as
an interior designer or words to that effect. If Mr. Alpert fails to return the
affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable cause was found that
Architectural Drawings LTD Co., of Clearwater, Florida is not licensed to
practice architecture in Florida and Mr. Young is doing business as
Architectural Drawings LTD Co. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued
along with the requirement that Mr. Young sign an affidavit stating he will
refrain from using the title architectural and will change his business name
deleting any references to architectural or words to that effect. If Mr. Young

and service plan and specifications to be submitted to the building department
for two restaurants. Further, Mr. Begley is offering such services through a
business entity without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was
filed.

Probable cause was found that
Behavior Architects, Inc., of Deland, Florida is not licensed to practice
architecture in Florida and is using the title architects in its business name.
A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the requirement
that Ms. Titus sign an affidavit stating she will refrain from offering
architectural services and will change her business name deleting any references
to architect or words to that effect. If Ms. Titus fails to return the
affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable cause was found that
Cynthia Bodnar, of Lake Park, Florida is not licensed to practice interior
design in Florida and she is holding herself out as an interior designer on her
application for licensure. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued
along with the requirement that Ms. Bodnar sign an affidavit stating she will
refrain from holding herself out as an interior designer or words to that effect
until she is properly licensed. If Ms. Bodnar fails to return the affidavit, an

that Terrence Brisson of Fort Pierce, Florida is not licensed to to practice
architecture and prepared drawings for an apartment building. Mr. Brisson
presented the drawings to the Architectural Review Committee of the City of
Pompano Beach. Further, Mr. Brisson is offering such services through a
business entity without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will
be filed.

Probable cause was found that
Roy and Christine Brown of Delray Beach, Florida are not licensed to practice
interior designer in Florida and are offering interior design services in a
magazine advertisement. Further, Mr. and Mrs. Brown’s web site offers
commercial design services. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued
along with the requirement that Mr. Brown sign an affidavit stating they will
refrain from offering interior design, commercial design services or words to
that effect. Further, they must change their advertisement and website. If Mr.
Brown fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines
will be filed.

seal of a licensed architect to submit drawings for permitting without the
architect’s permission. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued and
an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.

that Ray Evans of Jacksonville, Florida is not licensed to practice architecture
and is holding himself out as an architect on his business card.. A Notice and

will change his business card deleting any references to such services. If Mr.

Probable Cause was found that
Carlos Fernandez of Coral Gables, Florida is not licensed to practice
architecture and contracted to provide architectural services for a residential
project. Mr. Fernandez used his brother’s firm which is licensed in the
contract but did so without his brother’s knowledge. Mr. Fernandez’ brother
stated that he had no authority to enter such contracts. A Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was
filed.

draftsman that entered into a contract with the client to perform architectural

but his license went null and void on February 28, 1999. Mr. High continues to
hold himself out as an architect before the City of West Palm Beach Planning

requirement that Mr. High sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from holding
himself out as an architect and that he will no longer use that title in the

Earl Nelson of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida was previously a licensed architect.
Mr. Nelson’s license went delinquent in March 1993 and then went into a null and
void status in March 1995. The complaint was based upon a case in which Mr.
Nelson practiced architecture, held himself out as an architect and used his
null and void license number.

design and is listed under the interior design section in the Ocala yellow
pages. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the
requirement that Ms. Danielle sign an affidavit stating she will refrain from
offering interior design services or words to that effect and will change her
advertisement. If Ms. Danielle fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative
Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

design and is offering such services and in a newsletter and on its website. A
Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the requirement that
Ms. Vannier-Coton sign an affidavit stating she will refrain from offering
interior design services or words to that effect and will change her newsletter
and webpage. If Ms. Vannier-Coton fails to return the affidavit, an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

interior design and is offering such services in an advertisement. A Notice and

or words to that effect and will change his advertisement. If Mr. Vasile fails

that Eudaldo Verdecia of Hialeah, Florida is not licensed to practice
architecture and contract to provide such services for a residential project.
Mr. Verdecia held himself out as an architect. Further, Mr. Verdecia is
offering such services through a professional association without a certificate
of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.

that Tonya Whitaker of Miramar Beach, Florida is not licensed to practice
interior design but used the title interior designer on her application for
licensure. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the
requirement that Ms. Whitaker sign an affidavit stating she will refrain from
using the title interior designer until she becomes properly licensed. If Ms.
Whitaker fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking
fines will be filed.

refrain from offering interior design services and will change her
advertisement. If Ms. Tornatore fails to return the affidavit, an

Probable Cause was found that
Building Management Systems, Inc. of Melbourne, Florida, a licensed
architectural firm in the State of Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida
Statutes. The firm no longer employs a licensed architect. An Administrative
Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Mark A. Hobson
Hobson Studio & Studio 7 Architects, Inc.
Case Nos. 2006-044355 & 2006-052455
Probable Cause was found that
Mark A. Hobson of Ft. Myers, Florida, a licensed architect in the State of
Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. Mr. Hobson abandoned a
residential project and prepared plans that were not sufficiently detailed. Mr.
Hobson is offering architectural services through a business entity without a
certificate of authorization and his letterhead does not include his license
number. This matter was reviewed by the board’s expert, Jerry Hicks, who
determined the above violations did occur. An Administrative Complaint seeking
discipline was filed.
Norman Palmer
Case No. 2006-054876
Probable Cause was found that
Norman Palmer of Newberry, Florida, a licensed architect in the State of
Florida, violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. Mr. Palmer signed and sealed
drawing prepared by an unlicensed individual without ever meeting with the
clients. The contract was entered into by the unlicensed individual and Mr.
Palmer was paid directly by an unlicensed individual. An Administrative
Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
