Case No. 2007-001818
Probable cause was found that Adler Interior & Design Associates, Inc. of
Jacksonville, Florida is not licensed to practice interior design in Florida
and continues to offer such services even though he previously signed an
affidavit agreeing to change his business name and cease offering interior
design services. An Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Jose Ismael Allendes
Allenfar Design Associates
Case No. 2006-060092
Probable cause was found that Jose Allendes of Palmetto Bay, Florida, is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and his title block on a set of
residential drawings offers architectural services. Further, Mr. Allendes is
offering such services through a fictitious name without a certificate of
authorization.
Architectural Inspiration, Inc.
John Shepard
Case No. 2007-008699
Probable cause was found that Architectural Inspiration, Inc. of Tallahassee,
Florida, is not licensed to practice architecture in Florida. John Shepard, CEO
is doing business as Architectural Inspiration, Inc. A Notice and Order to Cease
and Desist was issued along with the requirement that Mr. Shepard sign an
affidavit stating he will refrain from offering architectural services and will
change his business name deleting any references to architecture or words to
that effect. If Mr. Shepard fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative
Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Arkytek-One, Inc.

Case No. 2006-039481
Probable cause was found that Arkytek-One, Inc. of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, is
not licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is doing business as
Arkytek-One, Inc. Mr. Smith was previously served with a Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist but failed to return the affidavit as requested by the Probable
Cause Panel. This matter was resubmitted to the Panel and an Administrative
Complaint seeking fines was filed.

Michael G. Bates, Inc.
Case No. 2007-010444
Probable cause was found that Michael Bates of Merritt Island, Florida, is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and entered into a contract to
provide architectural services for a commercial project. Further, Mr. Bates if
offering such services through a corporation without a certificate of
authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Sheryl Lyn Braxton
Braxton Designers
Case No. 2007-000968
Probable cause was found that Sheryl Lyn Braxton of Ponte Vedra, Florida is not
licensed to practice interior design in Florida and held herself out as an
interior designer on the CBS television show Big Brother. A Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was
filed.

Cote Architectural Designs
Case No. 2007-006857
Probable cause was found that Brian Cote of Jacksonville, Florida, is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and continued to provide design
services for a commercial project after a Final Order was entered against him
for the unlicensed practice of architecture. A Notice and Order to Cease and
Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Michael E. Craddock
Case No. 2007-006428
Probable cause was found that Michael E. Craddock of Boca Raton, Florida was
previously licensed to practice architecture in Florida; however, his license
went into a null and void status on March 1, 2005. Mr. Craddock practiced
architecture, held himself out as an architect and used his null and void
license number. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Julian Fajardo
Case No. 2006-026240
Probable Cause was found that Julian Fajardo of Miami, Florida is not licensed
to practice architecture in Florida and is holding himself out as an architect
on his company’s website. Mr. Fajardo was previously served with a Notice and
Order to Cease and Desist but failed to return the affidavit. This matter was
resubmitted to the Probable Cause Panel and an Administrative Complaint seeking
fines was filed.
Theresa C. Fiore
Case No. 2007-013738
Probable cause was found that Theresa Fiore of Jacksonville, Florida, is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and her employer holds her out as
an architect when a call is made to the firm. A Notice and Order to Cease and
Desist was issued along with the requirement that Ms. Fiore sign an affidavit
stating she will refrain from holding herself out as an architect. If Ms. Fiore
fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be
filed.

Probable cause was found that Michael Fletcher of Miami, Florida is not licensed
to practice architecture in Florida and held himself out as an architect to a
client for a residential project. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was
issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Patience Halliburton
Case No. 2006-066428
Probable cause was found that Patience Halliburton, of North Miami Beach,
Florida, is not licensed to practice architecture in Florida and contracted to
provide signed and sealed drawings for two residential projects. A Notice and
Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking
fines was filed.
Anthony Harwell
Harwell Design Associates, Inc.
Case No. 2007-008589
Probable cause was found that Anthony Harwell of Stuart, Florida, is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and entered into a contract to
provide architectural services for a residence. Further, Mr. Harwell is
offering such services through a corporation without a certificate of
authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.

Case No. 2006-020146
Probable Cause was found that Judith Haskin of New York is not licensed to
practice interior design in Florida and contracted to provide such services on a
residential project. Further, Ms. Haskin is offering such services through a
business entity without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was
filed.
David K. Hufstetler
Case No. 2007-013696
Probable cause was found that David Hufstetler of Jacksonville, Florida is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and prepared drawings for a church
without the involvement of a licensed architect. A Notice and Order to Cease
and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Mark A. Hunt
Case No. 2007-000489
Probable Cause was found that Mark Hunt of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida was
previously licensed to practice architecture in Florida; however his license
went into a null and void status on March 1, 1999. On April 6, 2006, Mr. Hunt
entered into a contract to provide consulting services for a commercial
project. The contract held Mr. Hunt out as an architect and contained his null
and void license number.
Klein Coastal Designs, Inc.
Dennis L. Klein
Case No. 2006-066746
Probable cause was found that Dennis Klein of Englewood, Florida, is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is listed under the architect
heading in the yellow pages. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued
along with the requirement that Mr. Klein sign an affidavit stating he will
refrain from offering architectural services and will no longer advertise under
the architect heading in the yellow pages. If Mr. Klein fails to return the
affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Case No. 2007-006405
Probable cause was found that Doug McIntee of Lake Worth, Florida, is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and entered into a contract to
provide such services for a commercial project. A Notice and Order to Cease and
Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Earl G. Nelson

Probable cause was found that Earl Nelson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, was
previously licensed to practice architecture in Florida; however his license
went into a null and void status on March 1, 1995. Mr. Nelson practiced
architecture, held himself out as an architect and used his null and void
license number. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Phillip R.K. Nixon
Case No. 2005-059302
Probable cause was found that Phillip Nixon of Boca Raton, Florida is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is holding himself out as a
master architect and is offering architectural services for residential
properties. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.

Case No. 2007-011754
Probable cause was found that NP Shah Architects of Mumbai, is not licensed to
practice architecture in Florida and offered such services in an email. A
Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with the requirement that
Mr. Shah sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from offering architectural
services or words to that effect and will change its solicitations. If Mr. Shah
fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be
filed.
Sherilyn Sam Robin

Case No. 2006-060484
Probable Cause was found that Sherilyn Sam Robin of Miami, Florida is not
licensed to practice interior design in Florida and contracted to provide such
services on a commercial project. Further, Ms. Robin is doing business as “Sam
Robin Interior Design, Inc.” through a business entity without a certificate of
authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.

Probable Cause was found that Jorge E. Rodriguez of Miami, Florida is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and entered into two contracts to
provide architectural services for residential projects. A Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was
filed.
Suncoast Architect, Inc.
Case No. 2007-010347
Probable cause was found that Suncoast Architect, Inc. of Englewood, Florida, is
not licensed to practice architecture and is offering such services without a
certificate of authorization. A citation was issued on March 13, 2007 however
the firm’s president disputed the citation. This matter was presented to the
Probable Cause Panel and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Walter G. Toet
Case No. 2005-006537
Probable Cause was found that Walter Toet of Pompano Beach, Florida is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is advertising under the
architect heading in the yellow pages. Further, Mr. Toet contracted to provide
drawings for a townhouse and is offering such services through a business entity
without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist
was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking fines was filed.
Tropiland Developers, Inc.
Nerie A. Pagan
Case No. 2006-069249
Probable Cause was found that Tropiland Developers, Inc. of Boca Raton, Florida
is not license to practice architecture in Florida and contracted to provide
architectural services and themselves out as architects. Further, Nerie Pagan,
is offering such services through a corporation without a certificate of
authorization.
Steven Bradford Turner
Bradford & Company Design Group, Inc.
Case No. 2006-064372
Probable cause was found that Steven Turner of Cape Coral, Florida, is not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is offering such services in
his title block. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist was issued along with
the requirement that Mr. Turner sign an affidavit stating he will refrain from
offering architectural services and will change his title block deleting any
references to architecture or words to that effect. If Mr. Turner fails to
return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
David Randall Young
Architectural Drawings, Ltd. Co.
Case No. 2006-047619
Probable Cause was found that David Young of Clearwater, Florida is not licensed
to practice architecture in Florida and contracted to provide such services for
unit improvements to the Palm of Maderia Resort Condominiums. A Notice and
Order to Cease and Desist was issued and an Administrative Complaint seeking
fines was filed.
II. Licensed Cases
Ames Bennett
B&C Architecture, Inc.
Case No. 2006-061794
Probable Cause was found that Ames Bennett of West Palm Beach, Florida, a
licensed architect in the State of Florida violated chapter 481, Florida
Statutes. Mr. Bennett committed misconduct in the practice of architecture by
failing to follow up on deficiency letters from the building department for a
project to construct a church child care center. An Administrative Complaint
seeking discipline was filed.
Christian Crookless
Case No. 2005-015113
Probable Cause was found that Christian Crookless of Garland, Texas, is licensed
to practice architecture in Florida. Mr. Crookless failed to provide to the
Board of Architecture and Interior Design proof of completion of the core
curriculum courses, or pass the equivalency test of the Building Code Training
Program and a citation was issued. Mr. Crookless failed to provide proof of
completion of the course and failed to pay the fine. An Administrative
Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Raymond Lee Enfield
Case No. 2006-026251
Probable Cause was found that Raymond Enfield of Elkhart, Indiana, is licensed
to practice architecture in Florida. Mr. Enfield’s license to practice
architecture in Tennessee was revoked. The Tennessee Board found that Mr.
Enfield failed to exercise proper responsible supervisory control when he signed
and sealed a project manual for the design of a modular building unit. An
Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Donald Scott Fraser
Architectural Associates
Case No. 2007-010309
Probable Cause was found that Donald Fraser of Middleburg, Florida, a licensed
architect in the State of Florida violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. The
complaint was initiated based on an unlicensed individual that entered into a
contract to perform design services for a commercial project. The unlicensed
individual prepared drawings for the project that were signed and sealed by Mr.
Fraser. Mr. Fraser did not maintain the proper documentation for signing plans
prepared outside of his office. Further, Mr. Fraser is offering architectural
services through a business entity without a certificate of authorization. An
Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Sharon L. Gold
Case No. 2006-063999
Probable Cause was found that Sharon Gold of Longwood, Florida is a licensed
architect who failed to satisfy the terms of a final order that was entered on
September 5, 2006. The final order placed a suspension on Ms. Gold’s license
until a fine of $500.00 was paid within thirty days of the imposition of the
final order and proof of completion of the core curriculum course, or passing
the equivalency test of the Building Code Training Program established by
Section 553.941, Florida Statutes was provided. Ms. Gold failed to make the
payment and failed to provide proof of completion as required by the final
order. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
James T. Melvin
Case No. 2007-007048
Probable Cause was found that James Melvin of Cocoa Beach, Florida, a licensed
architect in the State of Florida violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. An
unlicensed individual entered into a contract and prepared drawings for a
commercial project. Mr. Melvin signed and sealed the drawings without ever
meeting with the client. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was
filed.
Gerard J. Oakley
Case No. 2007-011118
Probable Cause was found that Gerard Oakley of Boca Raton, Florida, a licensed
architect in the State of Florida violated chapter 481, Florida Statutes. An
unlicensed individual prepared drawings for a commercial project. The contract
that the unlicensed individual entered into offers architectural services. Mr.
Oakley signed and sealed those drawings without ever meeting with the client.
An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Sandra H. Schiffman
Case No. 2007-006144
Probable Cause was found that Sandra Schiffman of Ruidoso, New Mexico, a
licensed interior designer in the State of Florida violated chapter 481, Florida
Statutes. Ms. Schiffman failed to satisfy the terms of a final order that was
entered on September 5, 2006. The final order placed a suspension on Ms.
Schiffman’s license until a fine of $500.00 was paid within thirty days of the
imposition of the final order and proof of completion of the core curriculum
course, or passing the equivalency test of the Building Code Training Program
established by Section 553.941, Florida Statutes was provided. Ms. Schiffman
failed to make the and failed to provide proof of completing the required
course. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
Christine Desiree Snyder
Case No. 2006-065271
Probable Cause was found that Christine Snyder of Longboat Key, Florida, a
licensed interior designer in the State of Florida violated chapter 481, Florida
Statutes. Ms. Snyder failed to satisfy the terms of a final order that was
entered on September 5, 2006. The final order imposed a fine of $500.00. Ms.
Snyder failed to make the payment required by the final order. An
Administrative Complaint seeking discipline was filed.
