Javier A. Gomez
Case No. 2009-034973
Probable cause was found
that Architectural Designs & Planning, Inc. and Javier A. Gomez of Ft.
Lauderdale, FL, are not licensed to practice architecture in Florida and
contracted to provide architectural services for a commercial project.
Further, Mr. Gomez is offering these services
through a corporation without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order
to Cease and Desist from offering architectural services was issued along with
the requirement that Mr. Gomez sign an affidavit stating he will not offer
architectural services until properly licensed. If Mr. Gomez fails to return
the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
James Wayne Caughman
Caughman + Caughman Architects, LLC
Case No. 2009-042512
Probable cause was found
that James Wayne Caughman and Caughman + Caughman Architects, LLC of
Chattanooga, TN, are not licensed to practice architecture in Florida and
practiced architecture, held himself out as an architect and used his null and
void license number. Further, Mr. Caughman is offering these services through a
business entity without a certificate of authorization. An
Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be
filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist will be issued.
Consultech & Associates,
Inc.
Robert McGoldrick
Case No. 2009-034009
Probable cause was found
that Consultech & Associates, Inc. and Robert McGoldrick of Tampa, FL, are not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and are offering architectural
services on its website. A Notice and
Order to Cease and Desist from offering architectural services was issued along
with the requirement that Mr. McGoldrick sign an affidavit stating he has
changed his website and will not offer these services until properly licensed.
If Mr. McGoldrick fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint
seeking fines will be filed.
Barbara C. Cortney
Barbara C. Cortney, Inc.
Case No. 2009-049248
Probable cause was found
that Barbara C. Cortney and Barbara C. Cortney, Inc. of Boca Raton, FL, are not
licensed to practice interior design in Florida and are offering interior design
services through a corporation without a certificate of authorization.
Further, Ms. Cortney’s individual license is in a delinquent status. A Notice
and Order to Cease and Desist from offering interior design services was issued
along with the requirement that Ms. Cortney sign an affidavit stating she will
not offer these services until properly licensed. If Ms. Cortney fails to
return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Case No. 2010-011970
Probable cause was found
that Design Studio by Natalia, Inc. and Natalia Neverko of Miami, FL, are not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and are offering architectural
services in an advertisement. A Notice
and Order to Cease and Desist from offering architectural services was issued
along with the requirement that Ms. Neverko sign an affidavit stating she has
changed her advertisement and will not offer these services until properly
licensed. If Ms. Neverko fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative
Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
John D. Ehas
TheEhos Plans
Case No. 2010-002512
Probable cause was found
that John D. Ehas and TheEhos Plans of Tampa, FL, are not licensed to practice
architecture in Florida and contracted to provide commercial design services and
used the title “architect”. Further, Mr.
Ehas is offering these services through a business entity without a certificate
of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist from offering these
services was issued along with the requirement that Mr. Ehas sign an affidavit
stating he will not offer such services or use the title “architect” until
properly licensed. If Mr. Ehas fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative
Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Glenn Gray
Glenn Gray & Associates
Case No. 2009-060296
Probable cause was found
that Glenn Gray and Glenn Gray & Associates of Big Pine Key, FL, are not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is using the title
architectural designer in a design contract for a residential project. A Notice
and Order to Cease and Desist from offering architectural services was issued
along with the requirement that Mr. Gray sign an affidavit stating he will
refrain from using the title architectural designer. If Mr. Gray fails to
return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Reginald R. Harris
Case No. 2009-053895
Probable cause was found
that Reginald R. Harris of Lake Worth, FL, is not licensed to practice
architecture in Florida and entered into a contract to provide signed and sealed
drawings for a residential project and is holding himself out as an architect.
An Administrative Complaint seeking fines
will be filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist will be issued.
Hua Cong and Yan Huang &
Associates
Case No. 2009-045775
Probable cause was found
that Hua Cong and Yan Huang & Associates of Beijing, China, are not licensed to
practice architecture in Florida and provided architectural services on a
commercial project and used the title “architect”. Further, the corporation is
operating without a certificate of authorization. A Notice and Order to Cease
and Desist from offering architectural services and refrain from using the title
“architect” was issued.
J. Scott Drafting, Inc.
James Scott
Case No. 2009-046984
Probable cause was found
that J. Scott Drafting, Inc. and James Scott of Englewood, FL, are not licensed
to practice architecture in Florida and contracted to provide design services
for an observation deck for a tennis court. Further, Mr. Scott is offering
these services through a corporation without a certificate of authorization. An
Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be
filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist will be issued.

Douglas & Jill Burghardt

Probable cause was found
that Jillian Douglas Design Group, Inc. and Douglas & Jill Burghardt of
Melbourne, FL, are not licensed to practice architecture in Florida and
contracted to provide architectural services for a residential project.
Further, Mr. & Mrs. Burghardt are offering these services through a corporation
without a certificate of authorization. An
Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed and a Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist will be issued.

Probable cause was found
that Killen Design, Inc. and Christian Killen of Naples, FL, are not licensed to
practice architecture in Florida and is offering architectural services on its
business card. A Notice and Order to
Cease and Desist from offering architectural services was issued along with the
requirement that Mr. Killen sign an affidavit stating he has changed his
business card and will not offer architectural services until properly
licensed. If Mr. Killen fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative
Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Paul P. Mineo
Case No. 2009-034521
Probable cause was found
that PMD Group, Inc. and Paul P. Mineo of Plantation, FL, are not licensed to
practice architecture in Florida and contracted to provide architectural
services for a residence and used the title architect in the contract. Further,
Mr. Mineo is offering these services through a corporation without a certificate
of authorization. An Administrative
Complaint seeking fines will be filed and a Notice and Order to Cease and Desist
will be issued.

Probable cause was found
that Erik C. Schreiber and Schreiber & Partners, LLC of
St. Petersburg, FL, are not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and are offering architectural
services on its advertisement. A Notice
and Order to Cease and Desist from offering architectural services was issued
along with the requirement that Mr. Schreiber sign an affidavit stating he has
changed his advertisements and will not offer architectural services until
properly licensed. If Mr. Schreiber fails to return the affidavit, an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.

Probable cause was found
that Sla-Tur Construction, Inc. and William Slade of Pompano Beach, FL, are not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and is offering architectural
services on its website and advertisements.
A Notice and Order to Cease and Desist from offering architectural services was
issued along with the requirement that Mr. Slade sign an affidavit stating he
has changed his advertisements and will not offer architectural services until
properly licensed. If Mr. Slade fails to return the affidavit, an
Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be filed.
Suzanne M. Smith
S.M. Smith Designs, Inc.
Case No. 2009-048190
Probable cause was found
that Suzanne M. Smith and S.M. Smith Design, Inc. of Kissimmee, FL, are not
licensed to practice architecture in Florida and are offering architectural
services in a brochure. A Notice and
Order to Cease and Desist from offering architectural services was issued along
with the requirement that Ms. Smith sign an affidavit stating she has changed
her brochure and will not offer architectural services until properly licensed.
If Ms. Smith fails to return the affidavit, an Administrative Complaint seeking
fines will be filed.
Weber Design Group, Inc.
William Weber
Case No. 2010-009900
Probable cause was found
that Weber Design Group, Inc. and William Weber of Naples, FL, are not licensed
to practice architecture in Florida and are offering architectural services
through a corporation without a certificate of authorization. An
Administrative Complaint seeking fines will be
filed.
II. Licensed Cases
Timothy Krebs
Case No. 2009-044158
Probable cause was found
that Timothy Krebs of Englewood, FL, is a Florida licensed architect, and signed
and sealed a commercial project for wind load only that was prepared by an
unlicensed draftsman. The drawings that Mr. Krebs signed and sealed were not of
a sufficiently high standard. An Administrative Complaint seeking discipline
will be filed.
Joy A. Vannice
Joy’s Creative Interior
Designs, Inc.
Case No. 2008-049836
Probable cause was found
that Joy A. Vannice of Orlando, FL, is a Florida licensed interior designer, and
entered into two different residential contracts. In both projects, Ms. Vannice
did not pull a building permit, on one project hired unlicensed subcontractors,
contracted to perform services outside the scope of her interior design license
and overcharged for materials. Further, Ms. Vannice is offering interior design
services without a certificate of authorization. An Administrative Complaint
seeking discipline will be filed.
